Our Story

A SMALL TOWN BOY FROM WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA

with a relentless passion for bowhunting and chasing outdoor adventures!

Smoak’n Arrow started the same way most journeys do—with a dream, a passion, and a whole lot of persistence.

Born and raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina, I cut my teeth bowhunting in a place where success is earned, not given. Big bucks are few and far between, and every opportunity has to be capitalized on. Those tough conditions forced me to learn early—how to grind, how to stay patient, and how to appreciate the process just as much as the result. That environment has helped shape the ever-growing hunter that I am today, and laid the foundation for everything Smoak’n Arrow stands for.

More than a decade ago, what began as a simple desire to document my hunts slowly grew into something bigger. With a bow in hand and a camera at my side, I started capturing my adventures through photo and video—the long sits, the close calls, the failures, and the wins. I’ve been an outdoorsman all my life and began bowhunting at 14 years old, and now at 27, it’s not just something I do—it’s who I am.

Hunting in Western NC fueled a drive to seek bigger and better adventures beyond home. Chasing dreams out of my home state, into new terrain, new challenges, and unforgettable experiences. Along the way came opportunities I had only dreamed about—networking within the industry, building relationships with like-minded people, and partnering with quality brands that value authenticity, hard work, and respect for the outdoors.

Today, Smoak’n Arrow lives across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook—sharing real hunts, real lessons, and real stories from the field and life in general. With the launch of our own branded merchandise and trusted affiliate partnerships, this website now serves as a home base to help fund the journey, support growth, and continue pushing Smoak’n Arrow to new heights with God at the forefront of it all!

No matter how far the road leads, Western North Carolina will always be home. It’s my proving ground—the place that made me who I am and where this story truly began. The arrow’s still flying, and God willing this is only the beginning!
